Responsible party
Gian Blaser, hubdome.app@gmail.com. Hub Dome is a private, non-commercial study project.
What data and what for
- Account: email address (for signing in), username, display name.
- Your village: houses, items with title, description, tags and link, visibility and settings. Your friends can see shared items; items you release to the Top Village are visible to all signed-in Hub Dome users, together with your name.
- Public village (optional): If you make your village public in the settings, your username, display name, houses and shared items (title, description, tags, link) are visible without signing in to anyone with the link, and search engines may index them. Private and adopted items stay hidden. You can switch it off again at any time; copies already stored by search engines disappear only with their next crawl.
- Friendships: requests, existing friendships and friend links (stored only as a verification value).
- Usage counts: who opened or adopted which item. Owners only see numbers from this, never names; the numbers are also used for the ranking in the Top Village.
- Claude connector: connector tokens (stored only as a verification value) and an hourly call counter to prevent abuse.
- Feedback and reports: your message, the page you wrote it on, the language, for reports the village concerned and, if signed in, your account; without signing in only an email address if you choose to give one. Purpose: improve Hub Dome and remove abuse. Deleted after 12 months at the latest or with your account (then without the account link).
- Abuse protection: Hub Dome counts how many houses and items you create (limits per account and hour).
- In your browser: a sign-in cookie and locally stored display settings. No advertising, no tracking, no profiles. Page views are only counted anonymously and in aggregate (see Vercel Web Analytics below).
Services that process data
- Supabase (database and sign-in)
- Vercel (website hosting)
- Vercel Web Analytics (visitor numbers): counts aggregated page views, sets no cookies and builds no personal profiles. Visitors are not recognised across pages or devices.
- Resend (sending the sign-in emails from hubdome.ch)
- Google (Google sign-in, if you use it; until the switch to Resend also sending the sign-in emails via Gmail)
- GitHub (only the link of GitHub items, to load a preview)
- Donations (voluntary): these are handled entirely by Ko-fi (Stripe/PayPal), TWINT or the donor's Lightning wallet. Hub Dome stores no payment data and does not learn who donated.
These providers may also process data outside Switzerland, in particular in the EU and the USA. The contents of your Claude artifacts stay on claude.ai; Hub Dome only stores the link.
Deletion and your rights
You can delete your account at any time under Settings → Profile → “Delete account”. After a waiting period of one day, your account, village, items, friendships, tokens and usage counts are permanently deleted; if you sign in again before then, the deletion is cancelled. Adopted copies of your items in other people's villages remain, marked “Original removed”.
For access requests, corrections or questions, write to hubdome.app@gmail.com.
Legal bases (for people in the EU)
Hub Dome follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). For people in the EU the GDPR also applies: we process your account, village and connector to provide the service (Art. 6(1)(b)), feedback, reports, abuse protection and anonymous visitor counts based on our legitimate interest in a safe, working service (Art. 6(1)(f)), and a public village and the top village with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time with the switch. You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in Switzerland the FDPIC, in the EU the authority of your country). Transfers to the USA rely on the providers’ standard contractual clauses or the Data Privacy Framework.
